Police did not report injuries in a shot-fired incident in Newark's South Ward on Monday morning.
It happened in the area of 47 Miller Street just after midnight.
A ShotSpotter device activated in the neighborhood, prompting a police response to the area.
Upon arrival, police found shell casings, but no victims were located during a search of the community.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
