Newark's Finest from Third Precinct Visited by Texas Girl who Just Wanted to say "Thank You"

Police form the Newark Third Presinct were pleasantly surprised by a young visitor who just wanted to tell officers how much she appreciated their hard work.

According to family members , Savannah has been handing out thank you cards to law enforcement departments from around the country since the deaths of NYC Officer Ramos and officer Liu who were gunned down in their police cruisers on December 20, 2014.

Since then, family members said Savannah has made over 4,000 hand written cards where she has been to several states thanking agencies.

Newark is one of Savannah's several stops as she has traveled out of the country visiting London England where she thanked the Metropolitan Police and spoke to them at Buckingham Palace.

Savannah has given her speech there, Yankee Stadium, Washington DC at Police Week, the Governor of Texas, and many more where she also challenges young people to appreciate law enforcement family members said.

She sends her challenge which is called the "Savannah Challenge" to young people around the world. Right now she is working on a project challenging a young generation.

Savannah has also sent cards to other countries such as: Israel, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Iceland, France and Switzerland.
