A woman reportedly found shot to the head on Saturday evening in the city's North Ward has died from her injuries.
Authorities identified the woman as 22-year-old Newark resident, Ana Satian-Paguay who authorities said was killed Saturday night in an apparent robbery.
A spokes person from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said Satian-Paguay was shot and killed outside of 544 N. 3rd St. at around 8:30 p.m Saturday.
Satian-Paguay was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon at University Hospital the spokesperson said.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office are investigating.
