Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for an armed robbery of a gas station on Sunday evening.
According to police, they received reports of an armed robbery in progress that occurred at the Conoco Gas Station located in the 700 block of Sanford Avenue at around 9 p.m.
Police say a black male suspect entered arrived at the business armed with a gun and demanded cash from employees.
The suspect took an unknown amount of cash before running from the scene according to police.
