Newark Police have issued a search alert for a teenage girl, Kianee Marie Martinez, who has been missing since the early hours of Sunday.
The 15-year-old East Side High School student was last spotted at her North Ward residence around 3 a.m.
Martinez is described as a Hispanic female with a height ranging between 5'4" to 5'5" and weighing approximately 135-145 pounds.
She has distinctive curly brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing black and purple Jordan sneakers.
Authorities are urging the community to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information regarding Kianee's whereabouts.
The safety and timely return of the young student is of paramount importance to her family and law enforcement.
