Police in Newark are on the search for a dark-colored vehicle occupied by suspects who fired shots on a Newark South Ward street on Sunday night.
There were no immediate reports of injuries after gunfire rang out in the vicinity of Avon Avenue and Farley Street just after 8 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene where they conducted a search of the area and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were located according to reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
