Police have a crime scene established in the 200 block of North 5th Street as detectives investigate a shooting that has a man injured at this time.
Officials at the University Hospital contacted authorities when a shooting victim arrived at the hospital's emergency department suffering injury from gunfire.
The victim reported to officers that he was shot at the North 5th Street location.
The extent of the victim's injuries are unknown at this time.
There is an investigation underway.
