EMS transported a male victim to University Hospital after gunfire rang out in a neighborhood in the city last night.
Exact details regarding the shooting are still developing, but according to initial reports form the scene, a liquor store hold up alarm sent police to the 400 block Roseville Avenue at around 7:30 p.m where police located the victim suffering a gunshot injury to the arm.
About a dozen police officers searched the area for a suspect who was described as a 6ft Hispanic male last seen running from the area wearing a dark colored vest, red hoodie, black pants, red sneakers, a ski-mask and was in possession of a gun according to reports.
Although robbery appeared as the motive, it could not immediately be confirmed.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life threatening.
