Newark Police Seeks Help Identifying Burglary Suspects

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the suspects, who stole a victim’s bicycle and wallet containing personal belongings on July 5.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that the burglary, captured on surveillance video, occurred after the victim parked his vehicle at approximately 9:35 p.m. in a parking lot on Elm Street, near New Jersey Railroad Avenue.

Two male suspects were seen pulling door handles of several vehicles until they reached the victim’s car, which was unlocked, Newark officials stated. 

According to Newark officials, they ransacked the victim’s vehicle, took a wallet from the back seat, and a bicycle that was behind the car.
