Newark authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Nakita Williams, 36, who was reported missing on Monday, January 27, 2025.
According to a statement released by the Newark Police Department, Williams was last seen on Bergen Street.
She is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, and was last spotted wearing a green bubble coat, blue jeans, and white Nike sneakers. Her hair was styled in two round ponytails. 
Investigators say Williams is believed to be in good physical and mental health.
She is known to frequent areas around Scheerer Avenue near Hunterdon Street and the 500 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. is urging anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
