Newark Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 17-Year-Old

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. is asking for the public’s assistance in finding 17-year-old Amir Duprey, who was reported missing on July 18. 

 

Police said Amir, described as a frequent runaway, was last seen in the 100 block of Seymour Avenue wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers. 

Investigators believe he may currently be staying at a friend’s home in Irvington.

Director Miranda is urging anyone with information about Amir’s whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).

 

All tips are kept confidential, and callers may be eligible for a reward.
