Newark Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying a suspect who is wanted for aggravated assault in the shooting of a 15-year-old male on Sunday, January 31.
According to police, the suspect was captured on surveillance video entering the Sud City Laundromat at 81 Mt. Vernon Place with a handgun around 1 p.m. Once inside, the suspect shot the juvenile victim.
Newark Police urge anyone with information about the suspect to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
