Newark police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects wanted in connection with two robberies that occurred approximately 90 minutes apart in the city last month.

According to information released by Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., the incidents occurred on September 26, 2026, and involved suspects traveling in a stolen grey Dodge Durango.
The first robbery happened around 8:20 a.m. in the 100 block of Miller Street, where police said the suspects approached a victim carrying an envelope containing $8,000.
Authorities reported that one suspect displayed a knife and demanded the money before grabbing the envelope.
The suspects then fled westbound on Miller Street toward McCarter Highway.
Approximately 90 minutes later, at 10:09 a.m., the suspects allegedly targeted a parking attendant at the J&L Parking Lot on Bruen Street.
Investigators said the individuals exited the same SUV and threatened the attendant with a screwdriver, ordering him out of the parking booth.
Once inside, the suspects reportedly stole $459 in cash, a cellphone, a wallet and car keys before escaping southbound on Bruen Street.
Police confirmed that the stolen Dodge Durango, bearing New Jersey registration U40YKE, has since been recovered.
Authorities have not announced any arrests and are continuing efforts to identify the individuals involved.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.
