Newark Police Issues Warrant for South Orange Man for Burglary

Newark Police report that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Patrice Lawrence Golden, 29, of South Orange, who is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on Monday, June 27.

According to police, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Police responded to a residence at Kenmore Avenue near Vail Street on a call of a burglary. 

The victim reported a break-in to the home, with the suspect removing electronics, cell phones, credit and debit cards, and clothing.

The detectives investigating this incident have identified Golden as a suspect and request the public's help in locating him as part of their investigation. 

Police said that he is described as 6'1" tall and 180 pounds, with a medium brown complexion, a dread loc hairstyle, and brown eyes.
