Newark Police Issue Warrants for Former Employees in Business Burglary

The Newark Police Department has issued separate warrants for the arrests of Ms. Destiny M. Patterson, 19, and Ms. Alaisha Holland, 19, both of Newark, in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Wednesday, October 18. 

LegalThe suspects, both former employees of the business located in the 600 block of Sanford Avenue, are accused of unauthorized entry and theft from the establishment.

Police said one of the suspects failed to return the keys to the business, and surveillance cameras captured both individuals entering and ransacking the premises around 7:05 p.m.

During the incident, they absconded with $100.00 in cash from the register and two custom waffle machines.

Additionally, a male accomplice was observed with the suspects.

Detectives investigating the case have identified Patterson and Holland as the primary suspects and have obtained separate warrants for their arrests.

They are facing charges of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.

Patterson is described as 4'11" and weighing 200 pounds, while Holland stands at 4'11" and weighs 140 pounds.
