This event features a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of films, musical performances, tours and hands-on workshops for the whole family.

According to the museums' web page, this exceptional community day includes musical and spoken word performances, hands-on activities for all ages.
The museum will also honor Dr. King’s legacy with a dramatic reading of his Letter from Birmingham Jail and will be showing the “I Have a Dream” speech.
Activities will begin at noon until 4 p.m. at 49 Washington Street Newark, NJ 07102-3176.
