Police in Bloomfield took two Newark suspects into custody for an armed robbery in the township Thursday.
Mr. Aziz Wilson, 22, Mr. Quayon Williams- King, 24, and a juvenile, all of Newark, are the suspects police believe committed the felony on December 22.
According to a statement released by Bloomfield authorities, officers responded to the 100 block of Willow Street on a report of an armed robbery.
Police say a resident was approached by three males who brandished a black handgun and demanded his money and cell phone.
The victim gave the proceeds over to the suspects and they fled the area.
Bloomfield authorities said officers located the three individuals matching the description.
The three suspects, two adults and one juvenile, were arrested and transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters to be processed accordingly.
No physical injuries were reported.
