Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in locating Angel L. Colon Jr., 33, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning about a shooting in which a male victim was injured on May 30.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. stated that police Officers responded to the shooting that occurred at approximately 4:14 p.m. in the 300 block of Summer Avenue.
When they arrived, officers discovered blood on the sidewalk and secured the area, Newark Police said.

According to Newark officials, during the investigation, officers learned that two Black males, both wearing ski masks, rode toward the victim on motorcycles and shot him several times at the corner of Summer Avenue and Nursery Street.
He was taken to the University Hospital by his girlfriend, Newark officials say.
