Newark Man Wanted for Allegedly Firing Gunshots at his Ex-girlfriend

Authorities in Newark issued a warrant for the arrest of Anthony Williams, 23, of Newark who they say is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on Monday, February 26, 2018.

According to police, at approximately 11:30 a.m., police responded to a South Ward residence on reports that Williams fled after shooting at his ex-girlfriend which is an aggravated assault subject to New Jersey’s Domestic Violence Laws.

Authorities say detectives from the major Crimes Shooting Response Team investigating the incident have secured warrants for Williams’ arrest on charges aggravated assault - three counts, possession of a weapon and the possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
