A 19-year-old man who has been accused of shooting and injuring a 50-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, according to authorities.
Michael Rivera was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
According to police, the incident occurred late Thursday on the 400 block of Roseville Avenue.
The victim was transported to Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation. A possible motive for the shooting has not be established.
