The movie was filmed in Newark and Produced and written by Saladin Of Newark and Middy Murdock.

Both men born and raised in Newark and are lifelong residents and community activists.

The film advocates for peace in Newark streets and encourages our youth to become productive members of society.

" We feel that it is incumbent upon us as adults to ensure that that they are equipped with the life skills necessary to achieve success in their lives," Saladin said.

The film is inspired by this theory, and influenced by a Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier film "A PIECE OF THE ACTION."

Synopsis: Calvin and Stelladorro, two con-artists from Newark, NJ, have caught the attention of retired Detective Shapiro Inlaw.

Inlaw persuades them to do some community work or goes to prison. He then assigns them to work at a community center, teaching the at-risk youth of Newark, life skills and preparing them for careers.

Throughout the experience, they realize the importance of being involved in community affairs.

But all is not well as their victims discover that they are working in the community center and now seek revenge.

Their fate hangs in the balance. Showings will begin this evening (July 26, 2017) at 6:30 pm with a second show at 8:30 pm at the Newark Screens.

Other dates are as follow July 27th, August 2nd & 3rd for 6:30 and 8:30 showings.
