Newark Brick City Lions Win Second Super Bowl in Disney World; Unlimited Team Victorious

Pop Warner Football Officials are reporting a second Superbowl National Championship Trophy will be delivered to The City of Newark after their Brick City Lions were victorious down in Disney World Florida on Friday afternoon.

In the 3:15 p.m. foorball contest, The Brick City Lions Unlimited Division took on the Garden Grove Bulldogs of California according to Pop Warner officials.

What was expected to be a hotly contested football extravaganza played out in front of over 2000 spectators at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex™ in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, ended in a Brick City Lions favored route of the team from California as Newark's offense show exemplary skill and well-coached talent in the 32-12 win.

Birck Lions began their quest for the championship by taking on and defeating The Greater Georgia Hawks on Saturday with a 41-12 victory. The Newark team then moved on to beat The Tacolcy Red Raiders of Miami Florida on Tuesday that would ultimately set up the Disney Super Bowl competition and victory against California on Friday.

The Bring City Lions Unlimited Team joins their Pee-Wee Division in Friday Pop Warner Super Bowl wins at Disney World.
