Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Welcomes Lucky Little Ones Born on St. Patrick’s Day

There was good luck all around at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) on March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day.  

Officials said at 10:20 a.m., as the labor and delivery team in the Women’s Health Unit welcomed several bundles of joy for a top o’ the mornin’ celebration.

“We’re always excited to share these joyous moments with our patients, especially when we can do something special,” said NBIMC’s Director Patient Care, Perinatal Services, La Shawn Jemison, MSN, MBA, RN.

One of the babies born at NBIMC is 6 lb., 12 oz. baby boy named Jahsir to parents Melissa and Jason of Newark. 

As of this writing, there were eight other lucky babies born on this day and counting.
