Kenneth Grant, 58, of South Toms River, was arrested Thursday morning by detectives along with members of the United States Marshals Service, according to a statement released by the Lacey Township Police Department.

Grant was wanted on multiple charges, including armed robbery, terroristic threats, and several weapons offenses.

Authorities have also added a charge of criminal attempt—armed robbery following developments in the investigation.

According to officials, Grant is accused of robbing a TD Bank branch in Lacey Township on March 9. Investigators allege he entered the bank, approached a teller, and displayed a firearm while demanding money.

The teller complied, handing over cash before the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Further investigation revealed that Grant is also accused of attempting to rob a PNC Bank branch in the same township. Authorities say that attempt was unsuccessful.

Officials have not disclosed how Grant was identified as the suspect in the incidents.

The investigation remains ongoing and is being led by the Lacey Township Police Department in coordination with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
