Police in New Brunswick are on the search for a suspect wanted for a shooting in the city on Monday evening.

According to police, in the second shooting of the week, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 33 Paul Robeson Boulevard.

Units arrived at the scene found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his arm at that location.

Police say the victim was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where he is expected to recover.

The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
