Police reported non-life threatening injuries for a person shot in a section of New Brunswick Monday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired near 32 Rutgers Street around midnight.
Police arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering a bullet wound at that location.
The injured was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting at this time.
The investigation remains active and no arrests have been reported.
