New Brunswick Police Investigates Triple Shooting

New Brunswick Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that connected on three victims at a location in the city overnight.

According to police, at approximately 1:30 a.m, police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of River Road and West Main Street.

Upon arrival, police found two victims suffering bullet wounds.

Police said while EMS were transporting the victims to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the third gunshot victim entered the emergency room.

The victim told hospital officials that they suffered their injuries at the West Main Street crime scene.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
