Middlesex County authorities are looking into the motive behind a shooting that injured a person on new Brunswick Sunday morning.
According to police, officials at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center notified police after a male gunshot victim entered the same emergency wound suffering bullet wounds.
The victim told police that a gunman fired shots in his direction on Jones Avenue before arriving at the hospital.
According to New Brunswick authorities, police searched the shooting scene and found shell casings, but no other victims were injured.
The victim is reportedly in stable condition.
