Authorities in Hudson County are reporting multiple victims injured in a shooting incident the erupted in a section of Jersey City Friday night.
Officials said at approximately 10:50 p.m, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 65 Crescent Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person shots at that location.
As officers began to canvas several blocks in the community, officials said they found about ffjve other victims suffering gunshot wounds.
At least two of the victims were pronounced dead from their injuries while the others were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has taken the lead in the investigation and no arrests have been reported at this time.
The motive for the attacks are under investigation.
