Several people were hospitalized following an early-morning crash in Bergen County, officials said.According to preliminary reports, the collision occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Washington Avenue, n
ear Redd’s Restaurant.
Police, fire, and EMS units responded after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, officers requested assistance from Moonachie Police to close Veterans Boulevard southbound while emergency crews worked at the scene.
Authorities said about six individuals sustained various injuries and were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
