Multiple Life Threatening Injuries for Victims of House Fire in Long Branch has Authorities Investigating

Authorities are investigating a fire inside a house that caused life threatening injuries to several people.

Firefighters responded to a fire inside a two-story single family house located in the 200 block of Joline Avenue shortly before midnight.

Crews quickly extinguished the two-alarm blaze after learning of several unaccounted for occupants.

According to reports at the scene, at least three people were located unconscious in the house and rushed to Monmouth Medical Center suffering life threatening injuries.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office along with several other agencies were on the scene investigating the cause of the blaze.

UPDATE 4:28 A.M. Three people has been confirmed dead. One person is in serious condition.

UPDATE 4:33 A.M. This is a family of four. Two adults and two children.

UPDATE 8:25 A.M. There is now a total of four people dead from this fire.
