Police followed a vehicle that sped away from the scene of a shooting that critically injured a man in he city's West Ward a short time ago.
Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the area of South Orange Ave. and Cedar at around 10:35 a.m. sending pedestrians scrambling for cover and one person struck at that location.
Police who were already on patrol in the area came in visual contact of a white vehicle ( possibly a Nissan Altima) where they followed it into Irvington when visual contact was lost.
That vehicle was reportedly occupied by three male suspects.
The shooting victim is reportedly in critical condition at his time.
