Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist this afternoon in Mountainside.
The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on the eastbound side of Route 22.
Upon arrival, found a motorcyclist suffering serious injuries.
The motorcyclist was flown away from the scene by a New Jersey State Police helicopter shortly before 4:30 p.m. to University Hospital in Newark where victim pronounced dead.
Incident remains under investigation.
