The Roselle Park Police is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a driver who eluded police and put numerous drivers at risk.

According to police, at approximately 12:15 pm on Tuesday, police attempted to pull the motorcyclist over for not having a visible registration (license plate).

The driver ignored the marked patrol vehicle's activated lights and siren continuing East on Westfield Avenue at a high rate of speed.

The driver continued into Elizabeth at a high speed and made several dangerous maneuvers to elude police. The pursuit was terminated because of the risk to other drivers.

This same driver is also suspected of eluding police in Elizabeth earlier that same day.

Identification of this motorcycle and driver will assist Roselle Park and Elizabeth police with the apprehension of this driver to prevent exposing the driving public to any additional risks.

The driver was last seen wearing a red, white a black leather jacket with a light color helmet (possibly Ducati Corse leather jacket).

The motorcycle is described as a white and red sports bike with red colored wheels (possibly a Ducati).

Any information received will be kept confidential.

Anyone with information on this incident, the identity of driver or location of the motorcycle is asked to contact Roselle Park Police at 908-245-2300 or by email police@roselleparkpd.org
