Police in Fair Lawn are investigating a crash that killed a Hawthorne man this afternoon.
According to police, shortly after 3 p.m. the driver of a Ford F-150 - a 17-year-old from Fair Lawn - made a left turn onto Berdan Avenue off River when he struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcyclist only identified as a 48-year-old man, was transported to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, where he was pronounced dead short time later.
The crash was under investigation
No summonses have been issued.
