NJ State Police are looking into the cause of a crash that injured a motorcyclist on a highway in Union Township on Sunday.
State Police said the crash occurred at 4:41 pm in the westbound lanes of I-78 near mile marker 51.6 in Union Twp.
According to police, the preliminary investigation revealed a Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on the highway when it entered the right shoulder and struck several traffic control barrels then overturned.
Police say the driver was ejected and sustained severe injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
