Authorities are investigating a serious crash in Linden that left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries Tuesday night, officials said.
The collision occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the 700 block of Cranford Avenue.
Responding officers found the rider unconscious and unresponsive after crashing into a vehicle at the location.
Emergency responders performed CPR at the scene before the victim was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
As of 4 a.m. on Wednesday, the motorcyclist’s condition was reported as life-threatening.
The cause of the crash remains under active investigation.
