Morris Plains Officer Charged with Theft

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Acting Chief of Investigations Christoph K. Kimker, and Morris Plains Police Chief Michael M. Koroski announce that Adam J. Klymko, 30, was charged on June 3, with one (1) count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:20-3a, a crime of the third degree.

Officials say Adam J. Klymko is employed as a police officer with the Morris Plains Police Department.

The charge is not related to his performance of duties as a police officer.

As this is a pending case, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office will have no further comment.

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, this defendant is presumed innocent until he is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
