Morris County Assistant Prosecutor Robert Preziosi Promoted to Rank of Major in United States Army

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr., are pleased to congratulate Assistant Prosecutor Robert Preziosi on his recent promotion to the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserve. The promotion ceremony was held on September 7, 2018, at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

While working as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, AP Preziosi continued to serve in the United States Army Reserve. He was ordered to active duty for operational support in June of 2018. AP Preziosi is now serving as a legal advisor to the command and staff at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Before joining the MCPO Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit, AP Preziosi’s active duty assignments in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps included administrative and civil law attorney, federal employment law attorney, and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney within Army Materiel Command, as well as trial counsel for 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. AP Preziosi has received the National Defense Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terror Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and the Air Assault Badge over the course of his service.
