Montana Man Charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine in Bergen County

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Juan Carlos Nunez-Perez, 27, of Bozeman, MT, for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. 

According to Prosecutor Musella, on Tuesday, October 26, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on a vehicle owned and operated by Nunez-Perez. 

Prosecutor Musella said that Nunez-Perez was being investigated for narcotics trafficking and distribution. A search of the vehicle yielded 60 kilograms (approximately 132 pounds) of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $3 million.

According to Prosecutor Musella, Nunez-Perez was arrested without incident and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. 

Nunez-Perez was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, Prosecutor Musella said.
