A 53-year-old Rutherford man reported missing this week was found dead in Middlesex County, according to police.
Rutherford police Capt. Patrick Feliciano confirmed that Alfred "Fred" Fiume's body was found at a home in Monroe. According to reports, the home is under construction.
Fiume, a dentist, was last seen Monday but when he didn't show up for work in Jamesburg Tuesday morning a search was initiated.
Monroe police have not made any comments nor confirmed the findings.
