Manville Woman Charged with Armed Robbery

Manville Borough, N.J. – Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor and Manville Borough Chief of Police Mark Peltack announced the arrest of Jennifer Mingle, 35 of North 7th Avenue, Manville.

Prosecutor Robertson stated that on September 18, 2018 at approximately 5:08 pm, a 23-year old female reported being robbed at gunpoint by an unknown female in the Market Place parking lot in Manville, NJ.

The Manville Police Department responded and conducted the investigation. The victim was able to provide a description of the individual who had forcibly robbed her. After reviewing surveillance footage, the Manville Police Department identified defendant Mingle as the person who committed the armed robbery.

Authoriotities say on September 23, defendant Mingle was located and arrested by the Manville Police Department without incident.

Defendant Mingle was charged with 1st Degree Armed Robbery and 4th degree Possession of an Imitation Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose.
