Man Wounded in Daytime Shooting in Paterson

A 62-year-old man was injured in a shooting on Saturday morning in Paterson, New Jersey, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.Physical TherapyPolice said the incident occurred around 10:22 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and East 24th Street.

Paterson Police, responding to reports of the shooting, quickly located the victim, a resident of Paterson.

He was promptly transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with a non-fatal gunshot wound.

A potential crime scene was identified in the vicinity by the police.

The investigation into the shooting is still active and ongoing. Authorities have not yet released further details but have promised more information as it becomes available.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
