Police in Newark requests the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Sunday.
Police say shortly after 4:45 a.m., a male entered The Halal Guys restaurant, located at 72 Halsey Street, and removed cash from the store’s cash registers.
According to police., the suspect is described as a black male with a slight beard. He was wearing blue jeans, a burgundy and brown jacket and a black skull cap.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him so he can be removed from our streets.
