Authorities in Newark are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting incident last month.

According to Emanuel Miranda Sr., Kisaan Clinton, 24, of Newark, is being sought by investigators following a shooting that occurred on March 5, 2026.
Police responded to reports of gunfire around 8:35 p.m. in the 200 block of South Orange Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located a shell casing and secured the scene. No additional details about injuries were immediately released.
Clinton is described as a Black male, standing approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall and weighing about 140 pounds.
Director Miranda is urging anyone with information regarding Clinton’s whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
