Police seek the public's assistance in locating Mr. Maurice Lamb, 38, of Newark, who police say is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on Saturday, September 23rd.
Police said at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to the 100-block of North 13th Street to a call of an aggravated assault.
A man pointed a handgun at a woman following a quarrel.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Maurice Lamb as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Conspiracy.
While police are actively searching for Lamb, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and removing him from our streets. The investigation is continuing.
