Man Wanted for Burglarizing Dunkin Donuts in Newark

Police seek the public’s help with identifying a suspect who is wanted for questioning in connection with a burglary of a business that occurred on August 12.

According to authorities, police responded to a call about a burglary at approximately 4:30 a.m. at the Dunkin Donuts in the 300 block of Springfield Avenue.

Police say the suspect, who is described as 6 ft. tall and 160 pounds, was captured on surveillance video forcing his way into the business through the drive-thru window. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and a dark cap.

According to police, the cash drawer and juice bottles were taken.

While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s help so that he can be located.
