Man Wanted for Burglarizing Car in Newark

An arrest warrant has been issued for the Mr. Hurlon D. McLean, 52, of Newark, in connection with a vehicle burglary that occurred on Monday, November 23. 

Police said at approximately 10:30 p.m., the rear passenger window of a Honda Accord, parked in the 200 block of Sherman Avenue, was shattered before a suspect entered the vehicle and stole various items from inside.  

Officials said detectives investigating this incident identified Hurlon McLean as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.

While Police are actively searching for McLean, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating him as part of this investigation.

He is described as 5’9” tall and 160 pounds with brown eyes.
