Officials in Newark are reporting that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with a burglary that occurred yesterday -Tuesday-.
According to police, at approximately 8:25 a.m., a male suspect broke into Redd’s Biergarten, located at 220 Market Street, and stole $1,200.00 and bottles of liquor from inside the business.
Police says the suspect the entered the establishment by damaging an exterior wall that leads into the shop.
The suspect is described as a black male with a slight beard. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and burgundy jacket according to police.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him so that he can be removed from city streets.
