Man Wanted for Allegedly Burglarizing Home in Newark

Police officials in Newark are reporting that an arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Willie McLamb, 51, on a charge of burglary, in connection with an incident that occurred on Wednesday, July 22.

According to a statement released by police, at approximately 11:05 a.m., a male climbed through the front porch screen window of a home in the 300 block of Chapman Street and removed a black IBM ThinkPad laptop from a patio table.

Police say detectives investigating this incident have identified McLamb as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Polices say McLamb is described as 5’6” tall with a bald head and brown eyes.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating him as part of this investigation.
